What is the difference between BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid CPR & AED Training?
BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR is designed for those that work in the healthcare profession (required for those that work in a hospital setting). BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR includes 1 and 2 man CPR, rescue breathing, bag & mask, use of AED, calling a code and relief of choking. At the end of the BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR there is a 25 question exam, which requires you to pass with 84% or better to receive your card.
First Aid CPR & AED Training is designed for non-medical people. It includes one man CPR, use of AED, basic first aid and relief of choking training, adult and infant.
After I complete the course, when will I receive my certification?
A Fun CPR Class issues all of their certifications at the end of their courses. Many CPR companies will not issue a certificate the day of the course, but your certification is mailed to you month later. Not at "A Fun CPR Class". You will receive your certification to your e-mail address at the end of the course. No waiting! We can print your certification off for you at our location (at the end of the course) for no additional cost.
How long is the certification good for?
American Heart Association certifications are good for 2 years.
How do I pay for the class?
Payment is taken on-line with a credit card or debt card at the time you register for your class. You are not required to pay anything at the course.
What if I need to cancel a course?
Unfortunately we are unable refund anyone that cancels a course.

How do I reschedule my appointment?
You may reschedule your appointment up to 4 hours before your class starts.
Go to your reservation email, at the bottom use the RESCHEDULE link.
NO REFUNDS for rescheduled appointments done less than 4 hours prior to your class start time.
Do you offer your classes at our office/site?
We are able to go to your office or site (within 60 miles from our office in Moreno Valley) with a minimum number of students.
BLS CPR - minimum number of students 30 at $85 each
(For less than 30 BLS students we have a flat rate of
$2,550 for a BLS course)
CPR/AED and First Aid class - minimum number of students 30 at $100 each
(For less than 30 CPR/AED and First Aid students we have a flat rate of
$3,000 for a CPR/AED/First Aid course)
(We are not able to offer food/drink for our on-site trainings.)
(Students are emailed their certificates within 24 hours for all on-site trainings.)

Do you offer a renewal course?
At the current time, American Heart Associate does not offer a renewal course. All students, both first timers or those coming back to renew need to attend the entire course.
Do you offer any discounts for your courses?
We have a referral program that anyone who has attended one of our classes prior can participate in. You can receive a $5 gift card to Amazon in the mail or $5 off a course if you refer someone who takes one of our classes for the first time.
We ask that it must be their first time to one of our classes and they must write down your name (just like you gave it to us at your course) on the sign in sheet.
Amazon cards are mail out monthly. If you feel that you referred someone to use and did not receive your gift card, please email us at [email protected].
How do I reserve spots in your courses for multiple people?
Each reservation needs to have a different email address and cell phone number to reserve a spot. We will send out a confirmation email and an email 24 hours prior to your course.
If you are making too many reservations to make them one at a time, please email us at [email protected] to make sure there are enough openings for a certain date and time to accommodate your group.
Do you offer classes in Spanish?
Currently we are not offering any of our CPR training in Spanish. We are not able to allow anyone else to attend the class to translate.
Is there anything I need to bring to the class with me?
No. All you have to bring is your willing attitude to learn life saving techniques that will help people in emergency situations. We will provide all training materials and equipment needed to perform the skills portion of the class.
What is a training class like?
A Fun CPR Class has long delivered on a commitment of having 1 training mannequin for every student in the course. This gives the students a significant amount of practice time during the training course. CPR demonstration on mannequins involves sitting on the floor for extended periods of time and bending over the mannequin to perform chest compressions. Students should prepare for the course by dressing for comfort and modesty. Students that are physically unable to sit on the floor are encouraged to place the mannequins on to tables available in the training room.
What is the age limit to take your courses?
For the CPR and First Aid class the age limit is 10 years old
For the BLS CPR class the age limit is 16 years old.
What are "Pop-ups" and why do I need them to register?
Pop-ups is a general term used to describe what happens sometimes when you click on a link in your browser. Sometimes, a new browser windows will "Pop-up" for you to then complete some information, or give you additional information. In order to register for a class, you need to have Pop-ups enabled within your browser because a Pop-up window will need to appear for taking your registration information.
Enabling Pop-ups is done differently in each Internet Browser. Look in the settings or advance settings to enable Pop-ups.
